Have basic contact information, the patient’s Medicare card, city or ZIP code, preferred timing, and a short general explanation ready.

Avoid sending detailed medical records, Medicare Numbers (MBIs), other member IDs, Social Security numbers, or urgent symptoms by standard email. Enter the MBI only in the designated Request a Visit field.
